Minehead – around 5 miles from Blue Anchor, this old Victorian town has much to offer. Pretty harbour one end, Butlins at the other
Carhampton – turn right out of the chalet park, go over the hill and turn right on the A39 towards Minehead. Carhampton Stores and Post Office on your right, just before the traffic light crossing. Very friendly and helpful, open 7 days a week, all year round. Good for basics. Public car park by hall, just before shop.
